ARTIST BIO

Isabel Cole is a Boston-born artist and art educator based in Missoula, MT with a passion for making art with and learning from others. Her work is based in feminist thought and the graphic nature of cartoons, which she explores through painting and drawing. Her current paintings depict the tropes of gendered activities and her own personal experiences through vibrant and colorful, whimsical scenes. Currently, she teaches K-8 art to students in Lolo, Montana.
